Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the FretPilot Pro app. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
01Your licence
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use FretPilot Pro on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Standard End User License Agreement (EULA), which applies to this app in addition to these Terms. Where these Terms and Apple's Standard EULA conflict, the stricter protection for you applies.
02Subscription, trial & billing
FretPilot Pro is offered as an auto-renewing subscription:
- Price: £0.99 per month (prices are localised and may vary by region and over time).
- Free trial: a 3-day free trial is available to eligible new subscribers. If you do not cancel during the trial, it converts automatically to a paid subscription.
- Billing: payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase (or at the end of the free trial).
- Auto-renewal: the subscription renews automatically for successive 1-month periods unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Managing & cancelling: you can manage or cancel your subscription, and turn off auto-renewal, at any time in your device's Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions (App Store account settings) after purchase.
- Unused trial: any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
03Refunds
Purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with its policies; we cannot directly issue refunds for App Store purchases. You can request a refund through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
04Acceptable use
You agree to use FretPilot Pro only for lawful, personal purposes, and not to copy, reverse engineer, resell, or otherwise misuse the app except to the extent that such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
05Intellectual property
FretPilot Pro, including its name, design, and content, is owned by us and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership to you.
06Disclaimer & limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that note detection will be accurate in every acoustic environment. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
07Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice. Continued use of the app after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
